Bye bye 2020

It’s almost the end of 2020.
The end of 2020.
Can you believe it?

What a year.

We’ve not had a huge amount of output this year for various reasons but there’s been some lovely stuff that we’ve been involved in.

We were super proud to see Reverse Darwinism land on streaming platforms early this year and whilst we were hoping for some good news on an exciting new short – and then the pandemic hit.

As with much of the world we stopped.

Then, director Tess Farley asked us to be involved in a new project – a film made during lockdown about lockdown. And we did. It won awards. And none of the team have been in the same room together. Super proud of ‘We Still Believe in Love’.

Next year we launch a really important socially engaged film by a new director – we’re super excited…

Our films of the year this year have been sparse – mostly because cinemas and festivals haven’t really happened in the same way.
The few that we’ve seen/liked are:
Parasite – Bong Joon-ho
Rocks – Sarah Gavron
About Endless – Roy Andersson

And the following have been suggested by our friend, the brilliant director Kash Arshad:
The Vast of Night – Andrew Patterson
Extra Ordinary – Mike Ahern, Enda Loughman
The 40 Year Old Version – Radha Blank

Stay safe, stay well, here’s hoping for a balanced 2021
